‘Dante in Asia’ will bring working translators and scholars of Dante’s works from China, Korea and Japan together to discuss the challenges, the history and the future of translating Dante. A particularly innovative element is the translators’ roundtable - an opportunity for Chinese, Korean and Japanese translators, along with US/European colleagues, to compare and discuss working practice.
